Monday again

Weekends go by way to fast!Here it is Monday I have a full schedule at work and got nothing accomplised this weekend! Did get to go to both Grandsons race so that was great,and they both did awesome!
The yard guys are out bright and early this morning spreading dirt trying to level our front yard then gonna seed it so hopefully by end of summer we'll have grass.
Curtis did get some work done this weekend ,in fact alot considering the big job it was ..He put my washer and Dryer out on the back porch and they are those Huge front loaders! then moved thr refrigerator (another monster ) that thing is huge! anyway he put it where the washer and dryer was Really looks good opens up the kitchen alot and the refig. doesn't look like a monster where it is now lol this is how big it is it took up the whole wall that the washer and dryer were on except a tiny space!Now we have to go get some cabinets to put where refrig was and have the counter man come back out.Never finished seems like,would love to just get it all done and just have to vaccum and dust once in awhile LOL
Well time is passing and I have to get to work so best cut this short,sorry wasn't very interesting topic,but chances are no-one is reading this anyway !But if by chance there is someone here please say hi so I know i'm not talking to the wall!!!!

Saturday another race day

Race at Ace speedway Dillon my Grandsons 1st time in his late model,was a good night.Our daughter Lisa got us a V.I.P. suite for the race wow talk about luxury which usually isn't something you associate with race tracks but this was. Air condition private room overlooking the track with Refrig full of drinks and to leather love seats to sit and rest,then if that wasn't enough they had all the food you could eat Free! Hamburgers,hot dogs popcorn,chips doritos and if you were a Beer drinker all the beer you wanted free . really went all out!  Now lets talk racing ..Dillon really made me proud, he finished 7th in first race and 13th in 2nd one but only because his battery went dead. He looked so good out there really made some smart moves,didn't do anything stupid just waited for an opening and took it without fear (which I had more then enough for both of us ) LOL. May be going to Hickory to watch Ronnie Jr. race depending on how I feel ..Love my grandkids and Iam so proud of the 2 boys racing,now theres Brandon 3 rd in line I'm proud of him also he played soccer for the school and was awarded The most valuable player,he was so good that  they took him out of his age group and put him one up!

Well gonna make this short need to get things done but never fear I WILL BE BACK!

Friday at last

Hey I'm back!!
Just posted 2 pictures of Ronnie Jr. my Grandson at the race last week myrtle beach speedway...wow what a great race,not just bragging because he is my Grandson but he looked awesome out there,made all the right moves and waited patiently to move from 12 to 4th then was taking 3rd positon with 30 laps to go out of 150 lap race forgot to mention,anyway BANG hit the wall from a flat tire!! that really was disappointing but he had it all together up to that point.I could'nt br prouder!
Now tonite we go to ace speedway and Dillon is going to race his late model and yes I will be posting pics of course. This is his first race in his late model so I'm really nervous and excited for him at the same time..(this is what heart attacks are made of) LOL He's good and very sensible their Dad has taught them right when it comes to how to handle the cars,so hopefully things will go good for him I would love him to win of course but if he just finishes his first race that would be great.
 It's been along week at work and a hot one too, but now Fathers day is behind us and summer has arrived so looking forward to my schedule being alittle less hectic.
One last thing before I close this to get ready to head to the track if anyone is reading this would you please pray for my sister she only has 20% of her lungs working and last week she was at work and they had a belt fire on a machine needless to say inhaling that smoke just about killed her she was rushed to the hospital and put in ICU they did put her in a room today but Dr. says she is not doing good at all..she is on the list for a lung transplant but we all know how slow that works! So please pray for her to get her strength back and pray for my brother-in- law he isn't holding up good thru this which is understandable he is worried he'll loose her,so he also needs a prayer for strength and faith that God is in control of all things!

Saturday Race day

I'm back and excited about going to myrtle beach to watch Ronnie Jr. race his late model 150 laps wooheee!

It's been a busy week here work work and more work,Went to 3 auctions this week and got some pretty good stuff and passed up alot more good stuff,just don't have room for alot of Merchandise is what I like to call my special finds..You'll see in the picture just a few things I've bought this week and they only added up to $18.00 how about that for a bargain Mr and Mrs Claus was worth more then thatI think.Also bought one of those RoBo vacs for 17 new. And just tried it and it was so funny the thing went under the couch and came back out and really freaked our" watch Dog" Buddy out.He chased it around the house then when it hit a piece of furniture it backed up and started chasing him LOL WOW doesn't take much to entertain me!Ok got to close this for now and get ready for our mini trip will let ya know how thr race was next week.

Tuesday

Hows that title for a eye catcher? LOL I must be getting slow couldn't really think of anything exciting to use,maybe because todays blog really doesn't have a subject per-say just trying to train myself to blog atleast every couple days.
We went to the auction last night and as usual bought stuff we really didnt need I got a old antique doll made of cloth and man is she in bad shape ,poor girl something has eaten her hand and well that was just the beginning of her medical problems but I ONLY PAID $1.00 FOR THE OLE GAL SO CANT COMPLAIN.Then we get home around 10.30 I go out on the back porch and wow what a surprise I had.We have a doggie door so Buddy our Bischon/maltese can go out when he needs to,well last night something decided to come in thru the door and have a party... wow it was a mess dog food bag was tore to pieces foood everywhere ,my little water fountain I had sitting on a table was on the floor my mop was hanging half way out the doggie door ,the horses molasses treats were out on the steps, we still can only find 1 of curtis's shoes he slips on when he feeds the animals,and oh yea my foam thing that I use when i'm weeding was chewed up..I'm still not sure who the visitor was but believe me we have learned our lesson the door will be shut at night from now on.So thats the only news today now you see why my title is Tuesday!! Got to go to work and fight the shoppers again today $tree and Target is on my schedule. just a side note ..please if you look at cards try to put them back in the right place!!! people yesterday saw me putting out fathers day cards and straigtning them and would go right behind me and mess them up with me standing there! I just keeep telling myself under my breath while I watch them JOB SECURITY.... ya'll have a wonderful Tuesday and as my gadget says for the days quote "Give someone a smile that your not really fond of!                                                          

Crazy or on the phone?

Good Saturday morning to ya!This post will probally be short cause it's just a random thought I had yesterday while at work. Back when I was growing up which is in the dark ages if you ask my Grandkids LOL If you were out shopping or anywhere in public and you heard someone near you talking you most likely would turn in their direction to see if they were talking to you and if they weren't and there was no one else around you would probally label them alittle weird at the least and probally move a few feet away or for that matter other side of store if your in a store LOL well now days you can't tell if there talking to themselves and label them alittle weird or if they are talking on a cell phone in their ear.I have to tell ya I have seen some people talking on their cell phones that I would definetly label weird!!
Wow how great is technolgy now all the weird and crazy can mix right in with us so called normal people and we don't even notice them.Now thats a subject for another post WEIRD PEOPLE.. working out around the public I can really fill a page on that one,I will definetly keep that for future post.Changing the subject just alittle ,talk about weird many years ago like 25 I went to a fortune teller Iknow that by itself would be labeled crazy! anyway she asked me if I had ever heard the saying "candy is dandy and your as sweet as... cant remember the rest of it but anyway I told her no so she said well you will hear it. ok 3 or 4 months go by nothing special just normal life ,my hubby Curtis and I decide to go to the grocery store after late night bowling it was around mid-nite he is picking up his stuff while i'm a couple isles from him and mid-nite not alot of shoppers ,then like out of no where this old man comes up to me and starts singing what do you think the verse was? Candy is dandy of course Curtis heard him and came up and asked him what he was doing and he asked him if I was his wife and what a lucky man he was! now talk about weird mixed with crazy that definetly qualifies.She could have told me I was gonna find a millon dollars soon now that I wouldn't have labeled crazy or weird! LOL If I remember that far back I think so told me i'd never be wealthy but would always get by,she really was way off on that one cause I count my wealth by the blessings the Lord has given me and I know he isn't done yet what a great feeling to know that he holds me and my future in his hands,wealth can't even come close to that!If struggling makes me stronger then bring it on i'm ready,nothing is to big that with the Lord beside me I can't handle
ok another future post "all the struggles the Lord brought me through" Trust me I have alot of stories on that one. For now i'm gonna close this and try to accomplish something around here. I Pray all is well in everyones little corner of the world you call home and remember to keep praying for our country,we are really headed in the wrong direction. enough said!

Faith

This is a big one for such a small word! How much faith do we all really have? I know most will say alot but......... another small word that can really pack a punch lol.FAITH when I say it I want to believe that it means to me that i believe in Gods word and all that comes with knowing him as my personal savior.How many of us have something going on in our lives and turn to the lord in prayer,thats what we should do but here is where i think true faith comes in,do you keep praying for the same thing or do you really have faith that that one prayer was heard and there is no need to keep asking God over and over for the same thing ,he isn't deaf to our needs and he isn't forgetful so faith has to start with believing he has heard your prayer the 1st time and there isn't any reason to keep repeating it. If your like me I have enough to Pray about without repeating the same one. If you disagree with me please tell me your opinion.
What got me on this is my sister who is very much a believer but "THERES THAT PESKY WORD AGAIN"BUT I think she has trouble with the faith part,she prays every night and in some parts of her life she really believes God will take care of things.Her problem is if it's a major change in her life she doesn't have faith enough to just do it and trust the Lord to see her through it.A major flaw I have been trying to get her out of lol.
Right now she is facing a terrible health issue,her Dr. told her she has to have a lung transplant and she needs to quit work immediatley,so her having little faith says to me I can't cause we need me to work,well guess what if your on oxygen or worse, dead where does that leave Jim "my Brother in law"My point being is Pray about the situation ask God to take your burden that it is too much for you alone then have faith that he will and all things will work out as long as you believe.I'm not saying you will play the lottery the next day and win a trillon dollars,sure there may be hills to climb but I know he will be there thru it all and when you have reached his destination for you it will all seem small compared to what it could have been if you didn't have faith that he was beside you all the way.I can look back at so many situations in my life that really seemed impossible to work out but here I sit on my computer talking to a wall lol how great is that..Sure I still have major health problems and yes someday they will kill me but today i'm good I have a job A fantastic loving caring Husband Beautiful Grankids,so all the other issues in my life are in Gods loving hands he has heard my prayer and my faith is strong that he will make all my problems bearable and my life will be full right up to the end.And I will always wake up in the morning and thank him for the blessings i'll recieve that day and shout out what a beautiful day it is no matter what the weather is!

Blogging

I want to say thanks to a fellow blogger FOR DIRECTING ME TO THE BLOG "Shoulders"The stories on there are some sad but all very uplifting to hear how much faith and determination people have that are facing so many of life's hardest challanges.We are all so busy with our lives either making money taking care of our family ,housework and then when we have time we want to just have fun,so thinking about others who our facing some really tough challanges on a everyday basis isn't always 1st on our to do list,but please take a moment to read some of the stories on her Blog it will be worth your time I promise.So often we say we want to do something to make a difference for someone but just don't have time and money is always a big excuse,but most of these familes just want you to listen to their story and then send a prayer up for them,I think all of us can do that right? I can only imagine what it would be like for a mother to be homebound most of her time because her baby can't go out for health reasons,how she must get joy from her blog followers comments.I hope someone is reading my blog I know I don't have much of a following maybe 2 people lol but if you 2 go look thats 2 more she didnt have and there are so many good stories

Time flys

It's been awhile since I posted anything. So thought i would see if I could think of something interesting to say this morning!
This topic is something I can't say I have personal knowledge on, i'm sortta on the outside looking in on this one.As you know I only have 1 child "Lisa" so if your reading this and have multiple children please give me some feedback!
O.K. here is my thought... Do parents with more then 1 child show favortism toward 1 over the others? I'm not saying they love one more or the others less just if 1 may have a little more space in their heart then the others? only having one child I dont know if i would have favored one over another. Growing up with 2 sisters me being the baby my sisters say mom and dad favored me but i'm not sure that holds true...as a baby i had alot of health problems my first year of life they had to take me to have radiation treatments and i had a really rough time with my skin had to have cold towels wrapped around my arms at night so i wouldnt scratch and make them bleed,so my parents had to take turns sleeping with me till that passed. So my thought is that is why they seemed to favor me when in truth I just needed more of their time where my 2 sisters were always healthy. then in adulthood I think it makes a difference how much you are in contact with your parents when you leave home,that while they love each child/adult the ones that are there when dad is hospitalized or mom has to have a test,or just to give alittle time to them maybe the one they talk more about or think more about but that isn't favortism thats just natural i think.
Now I want to move on to when their all still basically little and you have them close in age, How does it effect a child when he or she grows up if mom and dad both seem focused on 1 child and all there whims and wishes are given while the others may have the same wishes but they just arent as vocal or are told "later" will that effect how they are when their adults toward their parents? As a grandparent of 5 beautiful kids I try to be equal in everything i do but i do realize they all have such different personalities that you interact differntly with each one,I just pray that when they are grown and look back ,they will each one remember me as loving them all the same and maybe each one will have their own little memory that is theirs alone that we made together.O.K. I am looking forward to someone elses thought on this! Hmmm I might be talking to the wall again!!hope atleast 1 person is looking at my blog and will reply..
