Just another Monday
O.K. It's Monday I made it through the weekend without alot of discomfort.I had 2 stents put in Thursday 1 in my stomach going to my left leg and 1 in my right leg and they also did a Roto-Rooter job on my left leg where I had calcium build up.I was having mild pain in my stomach mostly over the weekend but only natural since thats where they were working.My Dr. is said to be the best in his field which is working with perifeial arteries but have to say his bedside manner stinks.After he was done he came around the little screen they place between you and the Dr. while their performing the procedure and explained to me what he had to do then told me if I smoked 1 more cigarette he was DONE with me!! I asked for a prescription for Chantix he said nope He doesn't believe in any of that stuff that I can just stop on my own then added if I want to continue living more then a couple years i'll quit.Then went out to talk to my Hubby Curtis explained what he did then told him I was gonna die in a couple years if I didn't quit, that he needs to take the cigarettes away from me(like he could actually do that) So I guess I won't be seeing him after my 4 week check up!! Really I know I have to quit that I have coronary artery disease but it's not an easy road to just put them down after smoking 40 years.So any tips out there to help with this addiction you may have to offer me would be appreciated!and i'll let ya know if I ever conquer this Demon!!!
Well on to a different subject,today is my Grandson Chase's 1st therapy session,they will be coming out to the house to do his therapy. Today they will evaluate him to determine how often he needs to be given therapy.He is such a strong little guy I think he will do great!
The rain has finally stopped but boy did it give us a boat load before that,Tornado's,hail,wind,we had it all in this area,thankfully we didn't have any damage but folks all around us did.Saying a prayer for them.

I'm back
Hello, wow I posted yesterday and here I am again today. My day started with going to the Hospital for pre-admisson for a catherization tomorrow.Hopefully they will fix my external iliac going to my left leg so I can do some serious walking. Right now it is painful to go from the house to the car but enough about that I hate to booo-hooo!
Well today is the first full day of our new health care system and guess what? If you haven't heard the 1 major issue Obama went all over the country saying and even went so far as to have a child on stage with him at some point to push that this bill will allow children with pre-existing health issues to get insurance without being denied,well are you ready for the first of i'm sure will be many screw ups by this great government and the Dems great health care package.They failed to put in the bill that children with health problems can't be denied oops guess Pelosi was right when she said we won't know whats in the bill till we pass it!!!You have to be kidding what is wrong with those people in Washington if they already have a major issue like this to fix how will they handle being in control of our health care in the future,maybe like they handle medicaid now (wow thats something to look forward to. )I'm sorry but i'm 1 of those people who has alot of health issues and I don't want the Government deciding what care I can recieve or wait for 6 months or longer to get that care.I'm getting to the point in my life where the government may think i'm too old to spend major bucks on.THAT IS A SCARY THOUGHT!!!O.K. i'll move off that subject for now.
Subject 2... After leaving the hospital I went to Burger King for lunch since they make you starve for those stupid blood tests lol.There was a Help Wanted sign in the window, ok nothing news worthy about that right? well stay with me cause i'm getting to subject 2 that ticks me off!! After leaving B.K. I was headed for one of my accounts that is on a busy highway near the mall,and what do I see standing in the median but a women holding a sign asking for money cause she is Homeless, jobless, and hungry,I would liked to have told her to walk half a mile down the road and get a JOB at B.K. their hiring,and have alittle self respect for yourself!!! Sorry I have no sympathy for people like that,go work for day labor if you cant get anything else but please don't Beg.I realize times are bad right now and there isn't alot of work out there but surely a body can find something besides holding a beggar sign,come wash my car i'll pay you but I won't give you a free hand out.
O.K. Thats my opinion and i'm sticking to it :-) more to come later so keep watching and looking I may actually print something someone agrees with cause i'm full of opinions and to be honest most of my family really doesn't want to listen hmmmm imagine that!!! thank you blog inventor now I can vent all I want and pretend someone is actually listening or in this case reading! catch ya later.
A dark day
Well as far as I can see today is a dark day for our future as a free society.When a party can vote in and change such a big part of the american peoples lives against popular opinion I call that a dark day!!!You may not agree with me and thats ok right now because we still have freedom of speech and were aloud to voice our opinion,I remember not so long ago reading the Bible about the end of times and thinking to myself "how will one person really get people to except the mark of the beast (666) that surely they will know it is going to be the end for them.Well after today I have no doubt that when the time comes it will be pretty simple for the anti-Christ to get sinners to except the (666) why not it will be for their own good cause they can't think for themselves! isn't that what Barack and pelosi think now? were all stupid so they have to do whats best for us!!! well thank you Lord for saving a wretch like me cause I know I won't be here to except the mark of the beast.You may not agree with me but think about it for a minute,where is our beautiful country headed for? If anyone is reading my blog please leave me your opinion! Maybe this all has to happen that it is destiny because there will be a end of times That I do not doubt.So if ever there was a time to pick up the Bible and read it I think this is it.If you are saved and have loved ones that aren't this is the time to try to bring them to the Lord,and if you are reading this and your not saved please take a minute and go to Revelations in the Bible and after reading thru it if you think i'm crazy then let me know,I would love to debate that subject with you.
How much more of Barack can we take before our Country is Bankrupt? Enjoy what he is offering you now because it won't last forever.We as a country can't pay this Debt.
It's Monday
It's Monday, The weekend was pretty good. We went to Hickory to watch Ronnie Jr. race his first 150 mile race in his late model.He finished 14,which was really good didn't do any damage to his car,which was amazing with the wrecks they had.I'll have to post some pics when I get alittle better at this.He races at Kingsport race track in 2 weeks not even a mile from where his Grampa grew up.Can't wait for that race.Wow guess Curtis never imagined when he was growing up there that someday his Grandsons would be racing at that track.
Changing subjects here,Iwas bored the other night so started surfing the web for sites on Down Syndrome'thats a subject that is really of interests to me since our Precious Grandson Chase is a Down Syndrome Baby.I found some amazing sites and think everyone should just surf the web when they have time and look at the videos that are out there on babys and adults with D.S. They are truly a special group and should be recognized for their indivisuality,and how they have so much to give to the ones that love them!I will probally touch on this subject alot over the course of my posts here because it is so much a part of our lives now.God is truly Wonderful loving God we could not ask for a more precious gift then the one he gave us with Chase.If any of you have stories of knowing someone with D.S. please shrae them with me.Would love to hear from you.
My first entry
Hello out there.I'm new at this so please stay with me and watch me grow,it should be entertaining at the least.Hey maybe you can give me some pointers while your here that way it won't be a waste of your time and I can use all the help I can get..Please no spelling lessons tho..I'm a one finger typer so I may hit the wrong key on occasion,just think of it as a game like Hmmm Can I guess what she meant to say with that word First .. I picked my background color because my Grandaugther Samantha (Sam) for short lovesssssss Pink and purple...so Ipicked the pink,that should tell ya how much influence she has over me!!Today is the first race of the season for 2 of my grandsons Ronnie and Dillon at Hickory can't wait Ronnie racing late model Dillon Legends will definetly keep you updated on them.
